This Privacy Notice for Soffo Insurance ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you visit app.getsoffo.com or use Soffo to evaluate home insurance claims.

You must not use our AI features in any way that violates the terms or policies of any AI service provider.

All personal information processed through our AI features is handled in accordance with this Privacy Notice and our agreements with those third parties.

We do not use documents or data you submit through Soffo to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine learning model — whether our own or a third party's. Submitted materials are used solely to provide you with the Services.

5. How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?

If you register or log in using a third-party social media account (such as Facebook or X), we will receive certain profile information from that provider — typically your name, email address, and profile picture, along with any other information you have made public on that platform.

We use that information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice. We do not control how your social media provider uses your information and recommend reviewing their privacy policy directly.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active, or as required by law. When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your information, we will delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not immediately possible (for example, because data is stored in backup archives), we will securely isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we do our best to protect your data, transmission to and from our Services is at your own risk.

If you wish to withdraw consent for any processing that relies on consent, contact us using the details in section 13. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Upon a request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. We may retain some information to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, or comply with legal requirements.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. Because no uniform technology standard for recognizing DNT signals has been finalized, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a binding standard is adopted in the future, we will update this notice accordingly.

California law requires us to disclose our DNT practices. We do not respond to DNT signals at this time.

California "Shine The Light" Law

California residents may request information once per year about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of those third parties. To submit such a request, contact us using the details in section 13.
