This Privacy Notice for Soffo Insurance ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you visit app.getsoffo.com or use Soffo to evaluate home insurance claims.

1. What Information Do We Collect?
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register on the Services or otherwise contact us. This includes:
- Names
- Email addresses
We do not process sensitive personal information, and we do not collect information from third parties.
Social Media Login Data. If you register using a social media account (Facebook, X, or similar), we will collect certain profile information from that provider as described in section 5 below.
All personal information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate.
Google API
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
2. How Do We Process Your Information?
We process your personal information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. Specifically:
- Account creation and authentication. We process your information so you can create and log in to your account and keep it in working order.
3. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?
We may share your personal information in the following situations:
- Business transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.
4. Do We Offer Artificial Intelligence-Based Products?
Yes. Our Services are powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. We provide these capabilities through third-party AI service providers, including Anthropic. Your input, output, and personal information may be shared with and processed by these providers to enable the Services. You must not use our AI features in any way that violates the terms or policies of any AI service provider.
All personal information processed through our AI features is handled in accordance with this Privacy Notice and our agreements with those third parties.
We do not use documents or data you submit through Soffo to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine learning model — whether our own or a third party's. Submitted materials are used solely to provide you with the Services.
5. How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?
If you register or log in using a third-party social media account (such as Facebook or X), we will receive certain profile information from that provider — typically your name, email address, and profile picture, along with any other information you have made public on that platform.
We use that information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice. We do not control how your social media provider uses your information and recommend reviewing their privacy policy directly.
6. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active, or as required by law. When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your information, we will delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not immediately possible (for example, because data is stored in backup archives), we will securely isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
7. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we do our best to protect your data, transmission to and from our Services is at your own risk.
8. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from a minor, please contact us at hello@getsoffo.com and we will promptly delete it.
9. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time by logging in to your account settings. If you wish to withdraw consent for any processing that relies on consent, contact us using the details in section 13. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Upon a request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. We may retain some information to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, or comply with legal requirements.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features
Most web browsers include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. Because no uniform technology standard for recognizing DNT signals has been finalized, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a binding standard is adopted in the future, we will update this notice accordingly.
California law requires us to disclose our DNT practices. We do not respond to DNT signals at this time.
11. Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. These rights may be limited by applicable law.

We have not sold or shared any personal information with third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve months, and we do not intend to do so.

Contact us by visiting app.getsoffo.com or emailing hello@getsoffo.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing us — and if your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to your state attorney general.
California "Shine The Light" Law
California residents may request information once per year about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of those third parties. To submit such a request, contact us using the details in section 13.
12. Do We Make Updates to This Notice?
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting a prominent notice or sending you a direct notification.
